YEAR 3

In creating a learning community for the benefit of the students, it takes time, planning, support and team effort. The parent-teacher interviews scheduled last week were a strong and positive step in this direction for students, parents and teachers. It was pleasing to observe so many parents attending these interviews. Together with the parents, teachers discussed the child’s work samples, behaviour, and learning progress so far and what more needs to be done to consolidate educational performances.

Your regular assistance will strengthen your child’s educational chances and help them to have a better hold of any educational opportunities that they encounter.

In Term Two, may your child further develop from being teacher/parent reliant to that of an independent learner, both at home and in the classroom, as it is important that they take a little more responsibility for their own learning.
